The thing about exterior photography is that the best opportunities come at the most inconvenient times. Pre-dawn and sunrise light will make sure no photographer worth his while will sleep in even for a moment. Likewise, the sunsets and late afternoon light guarantee a lack of happy hour specials in a photographer's immediate future.

This image was captured pre-dawn in the very early hours of the morning. Had we tried to capture this image any later, the harsh rays of the sun would have blown out our contrast. So we miss a couple of hours of sleep - the dedication to our clients and our passion for getting the right shots is a trait we pride ourselves on.

Villa del Arco is a family-oriented resort located right on the world-famous El Medano Beach. With a backdrop like that, there was ample opportunity to capture what we call "emotional photos". These are important images used in marketing that are not literal to the offerings of the property. They are simply scenic shots that grab the interest of the potential guest by conjuring feelings of excitement, relaxation, or interest - strictly from the feel of the image, not the specific content. We find these images equally important to marketing as the more literal photos that show specific offerings of the property.
